Technical cookies necessary for the website
The website may use technical cookies necessary and essential for its operation, including:
- session cookies used to manage authentication to online services and restricted areas, where available; these cookies allow safe and efficient browsing and are not stored persistently on the user’s device, as they are deleted when the browser is closed;
- session cookies for load balancing, used to optimise website performance and reduce page loading times;

Traffic data
The IT systems on which the website operates normally store certain personal data necessary for the execution of internet communication protocols. Such registration is necessary to improve the quality and technical effectiveness of the service provided.
This information is not collected for the purpose of identifying data subjects, although identification may be possible due to the nature of the data. Such information may include, for example, accounts and IP addresses of users connected to the website, URI addresses of managed resources, communication status codes and other technical parameters relating to the operating system or application environment used.
Unless otherwise provided by applicable legislation, such data are retained for six or twelve months, after which they are anonymised or erased.
The specific purpose of processing is to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and/or to check the correct functioning of IT systems. The data may also be reused to ascertain liability in the event of offences or damage to the University or third parties, and may be communicated to the Judicial Authority as required by law.
How to disable cookies and delete cookies stored on the device
Consent to the use of profiling cookies may be refused through the banner displayed at the first access or through the link used to review cookie choices, where made available in the website footer.
